ABOUT ME

Born in Sapporo, Japan. From an early age, I started the performance of music.

After I graduated Design Department of Sapporo City University, I started to work as a sound engineer and also as an artist. I worked as a sound engineer for 2 years, then I traveled around Europe as a backpacker for 4 months. I also worked for my art project during that trip, and published the book "[3+20]".
After that travel, I got a job in a web company as a web front-end engineer, and then also worked as a designer.

Currently, I work as a web designer and Japanese language teacher.

My special skill is to be able to get interested and learn quickly by not having experience.

Prior job sound engineers also worked in the absence of knowledge, but after about three months studying hard after taking advantage of the absolute pitch feeling, I was able to enter full-scale operations.

I have a professional qualification of HTML5, I have a certification of HTML5 Professional Certification Level.1.
I write codes with using HTML/CSS/Javascripts, not only these but I also use the skills of pug/stylus/sass/scss/gulp...e.t.c.

Also, because I'm also doing both web cording and design as a business, I can bear the sequence of design - coding and so on alone.

Japanese language teacher is my second job, I started this work since February 2020.

In original, learning languages is one of my biggest hobbies.

And to talk about teaching, I've noticed that I like teaching as one-to-one since I started to work as a sound engineer.

The most important thing about "teaching" for me is focusing on individual problems and helping them solve them.

One-to-one tutoring may not fit all students, but when both students and teachers feel comfortable, it is the best teamwork and can grow the students better.

I use a variety of different materials to keep my students motivated. For example, hand-drawn illustrations and comics, and my own teaching materials and worksheets that take advantage of my skills as a designer.

I have a lot of interests. I am more interested in languages than when I was young, English is B2 level (business level), Italian is B1 level, German is A2 level, Polish is B1 level, and Norwegian (Bokmål) is A1 level. I have also continued to play the piano for more than 25 years. In addition, I'm also engaged in artistic activities and have experience of winning the Best Animation Prize at the International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema MILAN in the past. I am good at changing to a wide variety of characters with makeup (by myself). I keep taking makeup self-portrait photos in a professional way.
